Proper nutrition plays a key role in maintaining good health, but it
can be difficult to know what foods to eat. The Alberta Heartland
Primary Care Network offers support and classes that provide nutrition
information.
There are also many health conditions that require a change in the
types of food you eat. If you’ve been diagnosed with a condition such as
celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease or diabetes
you may need to change your diet. The Alberta Heartland Primary Care
Network dietitian will explain your condition and help you understand
your nutrition requirements. The dietitian will offer you strategies and
resources to help you adapt to your new diet.
