diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, for example,
heart attacks, heart failure, high blood pressure and stroke. Only
about 3% of those attended the CR programs available in Edmonton. Alberta
Heartland's CR program brings the services closer to home so that more people
can regain their strength and endurance and improve their quality of life
